Had nose trauma when young and always had trouble breathing through one nostril, 30 yrs later I blew my nose and noticed something white and hard with no blood. now I have clear breathing through that nostril but also have an indent. there is no pain and bone feels fine, is this repairable and are there other concerns to be aware of. thank you in advance

patient heals at a different rate, however I would strongly advise against
playing any sport, let alone contact sport for at least 6 weeks. You should
have been advised of this by your surgeon, in your pre and post operative
consultation and review.
Noisy nasal breathing after rhinoplasty could be from many causes such as retained mucous, turbinate enlargement, or septal perforation. The latter tends to sound like a whistling noise.Hope this helps you.Dr. Joseph
