Burn from Vinegar - How to Prevent It from Scarring? (photo)

I got serious burn from vinegar 3 days ago. What is the best way to prevent it from scarring. I went to a dermatologist, he only gave me Aquaphor healing ointment. I have some blisters now. I'm afraid just healing ointment won't help it from scarring. You advice is greatly appreciated.
