Do I apply one first and wait or can I apply both within a couple minutes? Will using lytera with the retinoid or serum reduce their effectiveness?
Answer: Lytera, Retin-A, vitamin C Retin-A is typically used once daily at bedtime and Vitamin C serum varies as to whether or not it is used once or twice daily. I recommend using Lytera followed by vitamin C in the morning then using Retin-A followed by lytera at night time.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Lytera Hello, and thank you for your question! Lytera is safe to use twice daily - morning and evening. Lytera will be the first product that you apply after you cleanse your face. Once absorbed into the skin you can apply your other products. SkinMedica is currently phasing out Lytera and replacing it with a product called Even and Correct. This product works along the same lines as Lytera and can be applied in the same manner. Hope this helps!

Answer: Rule of thumb, thinnest to thickest It is 100% ok to incorporate Lytera into your skin care regimen while using Retin-A and vitamin C serum. Retin-A should only be used in the evening, therefore I would use Vitamin C then Lytera in the AM, and Lytera then Retinol in the PM. Adding in the Lytera will not make the Retin-A or Vitamin C less effective.

Answer: Elevase Moisture Booster and Retinoids Our office specializes in facial rejuvenation. We would recommend that our patients use Retin A or other retinoids. When peeling and red, decrease the frequency of use and apply Elevase Moisture Booster with ceramides to help moisturize the skin. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Answer: Retin-A last Lytera is applied twice daily while Retin-A is applied only once a day. Most vitamin C serums are twice a day but some are applied only once so check your product. For that matter, not everyone's skin will tolerate the use of all three products at the same time. That said, I've had the best results having my patients apply them in the order of:First, vitamin c serum....wait 1 minute or moreSecond, Lytera.....wait 1 minute or moreThird, Retin-A....wait 1 minute or more and then apply your favorite moisturizer.
