Exercising after a Brazilian butt lift
The Brazilian butt lift is beautiful and effective way to contour your torso, create a flat tummy, a small waist, sculpted back, full hips, and round new bottom. In our practice here Miami, we tell the patients that the recovery process is a very important factor in achieving the results the patients are looking for. We also tell the patients that when performing this surgery the shape that we create is much more important, beautiful, and ultimately longer lasting than the size. Keep in mind that the tissue that we are using this procedure is your own and in the future as you lose weight some of the fat cells will shrink. As you gain weight, some of the fat cells will swell and size. For this reason, although your size may change your overall shape will remain the same. Your best bet is to review your plans with your plastic surgeon and determine which activities are off-limits at this time.
Will workouts erase Brazilian Butt lift?
Brazilian Butt Lift is actually a lower body contouring procedure. After fat transfer, a certain amount of fat will not survive (probably around 30%). The surviving fat is yours for life. The fat cells in your buttocks can shrink with exercise, but no more than the fat elsewhere in your body, so the shape created by your BBL should be maintained.
Your gradual return to exercise after full recovery should be discissed with your surgeon.
Will hard core exercise affect the outcome of the BBL?
Exercise following the BBL will generallt not affect the result if it is started gradually and in a tiemly fashion. Hard core exercise should not be performed until at least 6 weeks after surgery. But afterward you should be ale to return to your preoperative regimen.
