Thank you for the question. Yes, a well executed tummy tuck operation performed for the appropriate candidate, should be associated with a long-term and lasting outcome. Generally speaking, the “ideal” patient for tummy tuck surgery is one who has completed pregnancies, is psycho socially/emotionally/financially stable, has an excellent social support system surrounding him/her, is capable of arranging enough recovery time, does not smoke and who has reached a long-term stable weight.

Thanks for your question. It sounds like you are having a mini tummy tuck. If you are a good candidate and maintain an ideal weight, the results should last for years. I find very few women are truly best suited with a mini and most require a full. If that is the case, you likely won't be happy with the results.
