I'm about 10 months post BA. I have this crease on the bottom of my breasts...one is slightly worse than the other. My implant doesn't appear to be bottoming out or in a weird position. The crease only goes from the bottom of my cleavage about 2in over. My PS said it's my body but I just can't feel right about it. I did not have this with my God given breasts. Help!
Answer: What is this crease? Hello, Thank you for the question and photos. The crease may be related to the breast pocket and implant positioning. I would also wait at least a full year from your original surgery to allow for final wound healing to take place. I would definitely discuss your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon. I hope this helps.Best regards, Dr. Karanetz Dr. Irena KaranetzBreast Fellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

CONTACT NOW Answer: What is this crease? I am about 10 months post breast augmentation If you're referring to a crease or any unusual changes in your breast tissue or implant area 10 months after breast augmentation, it's essential to consult with your plastic surgeon or a healthcare provider who can evaluate your specific situation.Breast augmentation surgery can result in various outcomes, including the formation of a crease or fold in the breast tissue around the implant. This could be due to factors such as implant placement, implant type, your body's natural anatomy, and the surgical technique used. Some creasing or wrinkling can be normal and may improve over time as your body adjusts to the implants. However, it's essential to have any new or concerning changes in your breasts evaluated by a medical professional to rule out any complications or issues with your implants.Your plastic surgeon will be the best source of information and guidance regarding any concerns you have about your breast augmentation results. They can provide a personalized assessment and recommend appropriate steps, which may include additional procedures or adjustments if necessary. Always prioritize your health and consult with a qualified healthcare provider for any medical concerns.

Answer: Crease Just based on the limited views of your breasts, you may actually have some sagging of your implant causing the crease. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and discussing this.

Answer: Double Bubble Good afternoon, It's like a double bubble but in a little unusual location for presentation. The correction would be to release the capsule from the inside and perform some internal suturing to tack down that fold.

Answer: BA results Dear Steffieg28, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
