I had a genioplasty done about 8 months ago. One side is a bit lower than the other. I have gone to two doctors and both said to wait a a year as bone remodeling will even it out, as the "cuts" are even. I don't think this is possible for the body to fix itself as it would be a drastic change. Is it possible that genioplasty can remodel itself and move one side of the chin up to even out with the other side? how long does this usually take?
