Liposuction, lipodissolve, liposculpting, smart lipo, what's a girl to do if she just wants to lose the fat without paying a bunch for a treatment or taking the risk of a surgerical procedures? What do you ladies think actually works at getting rid of extra weight around thighs and belly area?  Diet? Special exercise? Yoga?  WEIGHT LOSS TIPS? HELP!!!

Liposuction is designed to debulk areas of stubborn fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise, rather than to change the number when you step on the scale.

Liposuction is for body contouring and to compliment a healthy lifestyle, which includes good nutrition and regular exercise, NOT for weight loss alone.

The best candidate for liposuction is a person who is/has:

  • Healthy lifestyle
  • Good skin tone
  • Moderate muscle tone
  • Normal skin elasticity
  • Achieved their personal fitness goals prior to seeking surgery

A healthy diet and physical activity should be followed both before and after seeking surgery such a liposuction in order to maximize the results and long-term outcomes following liposuction.
