Eating too much will lead to weight gain, not large breast implants.

Carl W. "Rick" Lentz III, MD answers: Can SUPER large breast implants lead to weight gain?

...as the body tries to compensate for out of whack body symmetry - I've been told that it was inevitable to gain weight in trunk and legs when one goes with huge implants- like 1000 cc's on a 5'3" 120 lb woman. True or not? I am considering a breast reduction, lift and much smaller implants - PS suggests lipo as diet and exercise have not worked for me to lose the 15 lbs I've gained since EXTRA LARGE implants were placed 2 years ago. Please Advise. Thanks

It sounds like you have stumbled into a Urban Legend. There is nothing about biologically non active breast implants which would cause you to gain weight. There certainly are many ill effects you might experience from overly large breast implants. These include ripples, palpability, pseudoptosis, drooping, and even breakdown of the breast tissue and skin with exposure of the implant. Only consuming more calories than you burn will make you gain weight. I would encourage you to think twice before getting extremely large breast implants for the above reasons.
