I am 40 years old and believe I have several malignant moles based on symptoms and descriptions I have found on the internet. I don’t currently carry life insurance and am concerned that if I get checked and found to have melanoma, I will be unable to obtain life insurance for my family. Do you recommend getting insurance before getting checked for melanoma?

Melanoma is deadly - it is a widely known fact. If you have a potential melanoma, you should get it addressed...
