I had my surgery two days ago and I look like Frankenstein. The incision is red, red. I am very fair and it have been told that the scar should heal nicely. I just don't remember the doctor saying how long it will take the scar to "heal nicely".

Thank you for your question. No surgery is forever, and at your age, I would want a peditatrician involved, your parents, and would likely discourage your from the surgery, but would not be 100% opposed. There are some exceptions for surgeries at your age, but few. I hope this helps!
