I am 11 months post primary rhinoplasty and my left side in the picture is completely collapsed as compared to my right side in the picture. I don’t mind the right side in the picture but the left is asymmetrical, collapsed? From the bridge down, and my entire cheek and even lip appear to be sunken or pulled down. My front view was not to change, and the bridge was straight. It was just to remove the bump, deproject it slightly, and so she had to reduce alars too. What is going on?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. From the question you asked, I need photos for a proper evaluation. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. From the things you said, your nose might be really collapse. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: 11 months post rhinoplasty asymmetry on entire left side, what's going on? Hello @nm201, thank you for your question. It is possible to assess what might have occurred during the process after a year. It may be related to a number of aspects of the surgical procedure performed. The best course of action is to speak with one or more board-certified plastic surgeons to learn more and discuss your needs and specific options. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD. Answer: Asymmetry after rhinoplasty Thank you for your query. There appears to be a prominence of the lower lateral cartilage on the right side but on the left side it is straight. It does not appear collapsed. I would request that you make an appointment with your Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with your concerns. All the best!

Answer: Correction of nose asymmetry after rhinoplasty Considering that your result has matured and it will not change further, it is time to talk to your surgeon about problems you see and how to correct them. It is always best to work with your surgeon rather than going from surgeon to surgeon. An average of 7-10% revisions are typical even for bussiest rhinoplasty practices. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Answer: Would you consider a permanent non-surgical nose job? Based on your photos, you appear to have excessive nostril show and nostril asymmetry where your left nostril appears higher than your right. There could also be a small indentation along your left nasal sidewall. Depending upon your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for lowering your nostrils for improved nostril symmetry and for adding permanent volume to the left side wall of your nose for a more symmetrical nasal appearance. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
