I had my rhinoplasty 5 days ago. I went to Dr. H mainly to address a hump on my nose and because the tip drooped a bit, even more so when smiling. I am hoping for the hump to be removed, the droop to be fixed, and for a more defined tip. So far the healing process has been a breeze. I have not had excessive bruising or pain and I did not have a lot of bleeding after the surgery. The biggest...
I went to Dr. H in October after visiting other plastic surgeons in the area for a consultation. Dr. H was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I had the surgery in November and not only were the results amazing, but the experience was also wonderful. The day of surgery the staff was extremely sweet and patient with me and answered all of my questions. My results were natural and exactly...
I chose PSS for my Neograft hair transplant and my experience with working with the doctors and professionals there was nothing short of life-changing. My only regret is not reaching out to them sooner! The procedure itself, and my recovery afterwards, were exactly as carefully explained to me by my PSS care team. I could already tell after a day or two what a success it had been. I felt great...
**DR. POULOS IS THE BEST!** He is the kindest and most skilled surgeon I have ever met. I met him about 20 years ago when I had an initial cosmetic surgery (pre-online reviews:) If I was able to write a review back then about how fantastic he is, I surely would have!I just had a different surgery in January 2021. Admittedly I was nervous, as I haven't had surgery since my last surgery with Dr...
I tried Emsculpt to strengthen and tone my legs. I am a big cyclist and wanted to see if Emsculpt could help strengthen my legs when I don't have time to get out and ride. The treatment REALLY contracts the quads, while the "tapping" afterward prevents soreness. I feel like my legs have gotten stronger after the treatment, and more defined. I will post photos shortly. It is a great solution...
A: The cost of any liposuction procedure, at least in our practice, is dependent primarily on the time required for the procedure. The type of technology we use(SmartLipo vs Vaer vs. Standard) and we do all of them, is base on what is best for that particular patient and may be combined with other new technology such as Venus Legacy or other technolgies to enhance skin contraction
A: Good questions. CoolSculpting works
because the fat freezes at a higher temperature than other tissues. The device
carefully controls the temperature and the areas damaged. The amount of fat,
elasticity of the skin, and, yes, skill of the operator all have an effect on
the result. Expect about 25% of fat to be diminished with each treatment, so
the larger the fat deposit, the greater likelihood several cycles may be
required to achieve the best result. It is a great option for the right
candidate, so discussing it with a surgeon who does all forms of body
contouring should give you an educated opinion of your options. Good luck!
A: Thanks for your question. Unfortunately
your photo does not show the lower leg well, so it is not possible to assess
the transition from ankle to calf. This is a very sensitive area to liposuction
because any excess removal of fat can create a very visible contour deformity.
I do not feel the contouring you desire in your thighs is going to make your
calves look larger. Good luck with your decision.
A: Yes, there is an art to CoolSculpting,
and much of it is in deciding which areas can best be treated. It is difficult
to assess completely from your photos which area is best, but it appears that
either the inner thighs or outer thighs should be treated first. I recommend
you choose the area that is most bothersome to start with. A different type of
treatment head is used for each of these 2 areas, and more than 1 treatment may
be necessary to achieve optimal results. Good luck in your decision.
A: That's a good question. The main
factors affecting eyelid surgery recovery (other than skillful surgery) are
avoiding dry eyes and resolving bruising as quickly as possible. I recommend eye
lubricants for the former and cold compresses, perioperative arnica, rest,
elevation, and avoidance of blood thinners for the latter. Ask your surgeon for
advice that's customized to your needs. Thanks, and best wishes for your
recovery!
