Dr. Christiansen became interested in plastic and reconstructive surgery early in his medical school years, at the University of Utah, after attending lectures by plastic surgeons, which left him awestruck that one medical specialty touched on so many aspects of surgery. And that diverse skill set placed plastic surgeons in a unique position to help people. Whether it was reconstructing an anatomic defect, surgery to improve hand function, or cosmetic surgery to improve self-image and self-confidence, for him, plastic surgery provided the opportunity to make life easier.

Dr. Neaman listened to my desires and was incredibly understanding. He also provided exactly what I wanted! In addition to discussing sizes with me, he listened to my worries about continuing to work out after surgery. Every time I saw him, he made me feel valued and not like just another patient. He is someone I would suggest to everyone.
1/26/24- I want to get my review started and hope to journal my experience here. Dr. Neaman gets 5 stars from me at this point but I’ve only had my consultation. My pre op appointment is in 9 days! Surgery is scheduled for 2/26/24. One month from today. The plan… Extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, Breast lift with implants, lipo to my upper abdomen, flanks, back, underarms, and upper arms. I’...
After 2019 TT/liposuction flanks surgery, I didn't feel I needed a breast lift. But here we are 2023 and the "sag" is for real. My breasts had what I describe as "C cup tissue" but were droopy and my nipples were approximately 2.3 inches lower than measurement standard . I also have an inverted nipple Dr Neaman will correct this for me AFTER I heal from the lift.. this procedure is done under...
I'm a 47 yo female who has had children. In addition, my top weight was 320lbs and after a sleeve gastrecomy, I lost a significant amount of weight. I now weigh 240 at a little over 6ft tall. Because of the significant amount of loose skin, I went with Dr. Neaman's recommendation of a circumferential abdominoplasty (360 tummy tuck), mastopexy (breast lift without implants), and liposuction...

Date of surgery: March 16th 2022 155lbs One year post op: 143lbs Height 5’7” Just another update photo. Only regret is not having done this sooner, and wish I would have gone slightly bigger. I will eventually in the future exchange them and I bel...
A: If your insurance will mot cover the procedure there are three possible options for you. First is paying for the procedure out of pocket as a cosmetic operation. That may not be a possibility, but is always an option. The second is to find out how your insurance determines eligibility. A lot of the time weight is considered, and the more someone weighs the more they require to be removed. You could ask them what you would need to weigh in order to qualify based on the estimate that was made by your surgeon and work toward that as a weight loss goal. The third option, which may not be a reasonable option, is to consider a different insurance provider, and select one with a more generous benefit regarding breast reduction surgery.
A: Breast size changes with weight loss vary from person to person so it is hard to predict what will happen with weight loss. The simple answer is to lose the weight before have the breast reduction surgery and that will really take the guesswork out of it.
A: The answer to your question depends on what you are really asking. Only you know what a “satisfactory result” is for you and your situation, so it is essentially impossible to give you a yes or a no without knowing what satisfactory looks like in your opinion. You would probably benefit from a discussion with your surgeon regarding your hope for an outcome and ask him/her to explain what you could reasonably expect from the procedure they are anticipating.
A: I guess the answer depends a lot on how you define perky. A lift alone will move the breast higher on your chest and create a more youthful look. However, it will not provide fullness in the upper breast to create the full rounded look that you would only get with an implant. The breast volume will probably change very little, but it will probably fit in a smaller cup bra after the surgery, and it will look smaller (even though it really isn’t) because less vertical breast will be visible when you look in the mirror.
A: I would recommend you wait at least six weeks from the time of your arm surgery. That should give the tissue time to heal strong enough to tolerate minor trauma such as crutches, if that became necessary for you. Waiting longer is certainly better because it gives everything more time to settle and become comfortable.
