Dr. Mitesh Kapadia is a leading oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Boston and Wellesley, Massachusetts. As an eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery specialist with over 15 years of experience, he has performed more than 6,000 eyelid surgeries, including thousands of cosmetic procedures, such as upper blepharoplasty (eye lift), lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, and brow lifts. In addition to cosmetic eyelid surgery, Dr. Kapadia offers nonsurgical treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers (Restylane and Juvéderm) for facial rejuvenation around the eyes, cheeks, temples, lips, chin, marionette lines, and smile lines. “I specialize in using both surgical and nonsurgical techniques to help patients look their best without looking surgical or overdone,” says Dr. Kapadia. Dr. Kapadia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. In addition to earning his medical degree, Dr. Kapadia was awarded a PhD in neuroscience for his research in visual perception. He later completed a residency in ophthalmology with Harvard Medical School at its primary ophthalmology teaching hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston. After finishing his specialty training, Dr. Kapadia completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Boston Medical Center. When he is not working at his practice or performing surgery, Dr. Kapadia teaches ophthalmic plastic surgery as an assistant professor at the prestigious Tufts University School of Medicine. He has also authored several research publications and textbook chapters in his field. Dr. Kapadia is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
