Procedures I'm known for

Eyelid Enhancement
As an experienced oculofacial plastic surgeon, I specialize in eyelid surgery and minimally invasive eyelid rejuvenation. My goal is always to help patients look their best without appearing overdone or operated on. At my practices in Boston and Wellesley, I perform hundreds of eyelid surgeries each year, including upper blepharoplasty (an upper eyelid lift). The surgery involves removing excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids, which opens the eyes and allows patients to look younger and more lively. I can also surgically treat ptosis, a condition that causes droopy eyelids, and eyelid retraction, where the upper eyelid is too high. Sometimes patients choose to simultaneously undergo lower blepharoplasty, which helps to treat puffiness, bags, and dark circles under the eyes through the careful removal of excess fat and, in some cases, the tightening of the skin with a laser.
Fillers and Other Injectables
I am passionate about the benefits of injectables as a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment for my patients. Surgery isn’t always required to reach your aesthetic goals. For example, filler injections on or just below the lower eyelids can help reduce the appearance of mild under-eye circles and eye bags, with no downtime and subtle, natural-looking results. This procedure is often referred to as nonsurgical blepharoplasty. Often, patients who seek dermal fillers under their eyes find that they can also benefit from rejuvenation in the midface to help create a balanced look and a healthier, more youthful appearance. At my practices in Boston and Wellesley, I use facial fillers such as Restylane and Juvéderm to restore volume, soften facial contours, as well as neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport to relax wrinkles. These injectables can be combined for a “liquid facelift.”
Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement
We are passionate about minimally invasive treatments of all of our patients. My goal is to really help patients look their best, without looking overdone or surgical if no downtime and subtle results is the goal.
