Hello, I had lipo/gland excision done to correct gynecomastia 2 weeks ago and things seem to be progressing nicely. I have some hard lumps underneath my nipples, presumably scar tissue and I have read that massaging is a good way to break up the tissue and soften things up. How should massaging be done. Should it hurt, i.e. pain ok or should it be done gently. ALso what type of lotion should be used. Just looking for any suggestions. Can't get in touch with my doctor as of now. Thanks
I had gynecomastia surgery 6 months ago and I still have a lump on one side that I believe is scar tissue. I have recently started massaging again after I did not for months. After I massage it to break it up it typically swells up and my breast looks swollen. Is that normal?
it's been about 6 weeks since my surgery. I had lipo/excision done. I am worried about the results as it looks like my chest does not look like it has gone through surgery and still seem cone shaped . My chest feels very soft when i press around the nipples. i don't feel any lumps except right around the incision area. Is it ok that the chest feels soft and squishy? I also feel pain and discomfort, and the area is extremely sensitive. my doctor is in another state so i can't go to see him.
I recently started noticing soft lumps under the left side of my chest, and it makes the nipple look a little puffy. It has been 8 months since my gyno surgery and the right side turned out pretty great. But since the last 1 month, I have been noticing these lumps and it makes me pretty anxious, could it be gyno coming back, it also hurts when I try to massage the left side area. As you can see in the photos, the right side looks perfectly flat, but the left side has that gyno look.
9 mths ago I had tissue excision (via Aerola) and lipo (via side chest incision) to remove mild gyno. My chest now seems indented, pulling in strange ways, rippled below - not sure if fat still there, scar tissue or tethered basically not looking smooth. Really want some 3rd party thoughts on what it may be and options to improve? Suggestions? Massage till hurts? Does it look a difficult thing to fix. Attaching a few pics here! Also on how to deal w side indents and scars. Thnx 1m!
Bilateral gyne surgery 15 months ago. Revision surgery right side 9 months ago. Right side still considerably larger than left. Scar tissue present on right side. What can be done to fix this? Before photo, current photo, close up right breast with arm raised and visible lumps (above/right and below/left of nipple.).
I had gyno surgery last October. The results were great but I began noticing a hard lump behind my right nipple that I may or may not be tricking myself into thinking its growing. The left side is perfectly flat and has no lump. I'm worried if its gland that it will keep growing resulting in an uneven chest. My surgeon is impossible to get a hold of so Im hoping you might be able to help. Do you think it may just be scar tissue since its only one one side? Thank you.
31 years old. Had gyno surgery 7 months ago and not 100% happy with results. My right nipple has a large hard lump still which maybe scar tissue but hasnt changed. Also feels like fat still under nipple and going to my underarm which is different to the other side. Would like a opinion whether my results are ok or I should ask for a revision. Nipples appear to be puffy again and right side hangs a bit when I bend over.
8 weeks post op. Scar tissue still above and under nipple. Incision scar is causing nipple to 'sit' on the skin rather than look natural. See photos. Currently massaging twice and using serum on incision scars to soften. Concerned this is how my nipple will now forever sit or in people's experience once the scar tissue resides and incision scars soften my nipple should start looking more natural. Back to wearing vest through night also. Or being 8 weeks this is close to as good as it gets?
I have had the my gyno surgery an year ago and now my right nipple has a deformity. The bottom aerola looks bit puffy (out from surface) and folded onto the top part. The top half of the aerola looks as if Its attached to the muscle beneath and I can feel a thread like lump right under the nipple when pinched and the nipple is also bit painful when touched. Further the aerola along with bit of its surrounding gets inverted when the hands are raised. Can this complexity be fixed and made normal?
