I am 5’5”, 174 lbs, and 3.5 weeks post op from abdominal myomectomy for fibroids. Prior to surgery, I needed to lose 15 pounds and had mild abdominal fat, but I could “suck it in”. I now have the dreaded "muffin top," this excess skin or fat hanging over my C-section scar, in 1-inch shelf-like distribution. Is 3.5 weeks too early to expect this to be gone? Anything non-invasive I can do? Will I need invasive techniques, is Vaser or Smart Lipo, or would I need abdominoplasty? I’m interested in liposuction, but, I don’t want hanging skin.
I would like the liposuction to be done on my flanks, lower abdomen, and possibly inner thighs. I figured it might be possible since the da Vinci only requires 4 small incisions and is minimally invasive. I am 29 years old, no other health issues, 5'5, and 140lbs. I have not mentioned this to the doctor that will be performing my myomectomy yet. I guess I was just wondering if this is something crazy and completely unheard of.I have 3 fibroids ranging from 5-8 cm and a few much smaller ones.
had a myomectomy on June 5th to remove large fibroids they were about 20 cm a piece I had to be cut open vertically because they were so large my uterus was the size of someone that was 8 months pregnant how long do I have to wait before I can get liposuction in my stomach
2 months ago i did lipo on my stomach but i am not pleased therefore i am planing to do lipo the same area one more time. unfortunately i have large fibriods and am suggested that myomectomy is my best option.i would like to doboth procedures within this year but i am not sure what should i do first between removing my fibriods or lipo. if i do one procedure how long i have to wait to do the other one. thank you so much
Will the pooch ever go away with diet and exercise only ? My upper body and shoulders and back has gotten nice and defined , m upper abs have some definition but can't seem to get rid of the pooch in lower abdomen which is also numb after the surgery. Considered lipo but afraid , it's getting frustrating cuz I work out really hard and eat really well , what am I missing ? I'm also a pear shape , 5'4 , 148 lbs early 30's
