Juvederm lip filler safety while trying to get pregnant. I have been receiving juvederm lip filler for several years- recently started trying to conceive. I understand that I can not get injections while pregnant- but how soon after getting filler placed is it safe to become pregnant? I have been told there is no wait time needed but since it is absorbed / metabolized over time can that be harmful to a pregnancy? Does it go through the blood stream?
I'm 33 and hoping to be pregnant soon through fertility treatment. I have volume loss under my eyes lately & am interested in filler. I assume that any weight gain will make the volume loss more pronounced and I don't want to look overly tired/worn out during a long-awaited for pregnancy. On the other hand, I don't want to make the problem worse if my face shape changes. My question is not is this safe but rather is filler before pregnancy a good idea from an aesthetic perspective?
I realised I got 0.5ml of Juvederm in my cheeks around 2 months before I got pregnant. I have been trying to find out whether this could have long term risks or not but finding only very limited information. Any help appreciated!
I had under eye filler done recently- with horrible result- I'm 34- bags under eyes with bizarre ridges/indents mid cheek now. The injector used Versa- new HA It has been a week, I'm so sad & embarrassed. Can I safely have the filler dissolved and move on with my life- we are planning on getting pregnant within next two months and I don't want to possibly harm baby- I read that antibodies can form bc the hyalonidase is from sheep/cattle testes- Would asking for Hylenx be better?? Please help!!
I already have juvederm in my lips. I had my last 1ml in setpember before my wedding. in October I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I'm due another top up and have seen from previous advice that whilst the existing filler is fine I shouldn't have more. Why is this? I know there have been no studies on pregnant women but surely the filler is in me anyway so would more really be bad? Also filler doesn't enter the bloodstream so won't reach my baby is that correct? I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant now
(had no idea!) was a shock but a wonderful surprise! Two days ago I had filler in my face to smooth out wrinkles and to my crows feet. I had no idea I was pregnant - have I done any harm to my baby and will being pregnant have any effects on the actual filler in my face?
