For women who have had brazilian or bikini laser hair removal - I'm wondering if you experienced fat or volume loss anywhere on your vagina. After receiving brazilian laser hair removal treatments, I've experienced volume or fat loss in my labia majora (outer lips of the vulva). Before the treatments, they were fuller and fattier, but now my outer vulva/labia looks deflated, wrinkly, droopy, and is really soft. I have not had any changes in weight in the last year and haven't made any other changes that could cause something like this to happen. All treatments went as expected (no burning, blistering, etc.) but I was left with some hyperpigmentation in my bikini line and thigh area that I need to lighten. I believe the laser traumatized my skin and destroyed the fat and integrity of my skin. The upper "fat pad" or cleft doesn't look too affected, but that skin is much different than the delicate skin of the labia majora. After reading so much about people's experience losing fat and collagen in their faces and body after treatments like IPL and fraxel, and after my experience, I believe that all lasers traumatize the skin and cause different degrees of fat loss or collagen destruction. I would love to hear your thoughts.
