I went in for a consultation today at a Dr's office regarding laser hair removal; they use the G-laze. I was asking for hair removal on my back, which there is none on my mid to low, but moderate+ on the upper back. The therapist stated the importance for doing the whole back regardless of there being hair or not. I stated this did not make sense due to time, discomfort, and cost. They stated that it was necessary to do this, but could not give me a satisfactory answer as to why. We went back and forth several times, but they were not able to give me a satifsfactory reason for the unnecessary work. I gave up and spoke with the office manager to contact me so I can see if there is a different therapist available. It sounds to me like a policy, not a medical necessity. Am I missing something?Thank you,D
