TT scheduled- adding breast lift?

By CBreeze on 10 Jul 2011

Hello, I am new to this forum. Two years ago I weighed around 300 pounds, and have now lost between 40 and 50% of my body weight (I fluctuate between 155-165). I have a fleur-de-lys tummy tuck scheduled next month, and am curious about adding a breast lift to be performed at the same time. Has anyone undergone these operations together? My greatest concern is the loose/hanging skin around my abdomen, but I have also lost significant fullness in my breasts. The tummy-tuck is more for function/health, while the breast lift would be for self-esteem/aesthetic purposes. Can anyone share experiences or direct me to good information on this? I'm having a bit of trouble navigating these forums.   Thank you!

I had my TT 3+weeks ago and had a breast reduction with lift at the same time. I have always had very large breasts that just got more saggy with time, after pregnancies, etc. I am so glad I did my breasts as well. Mine were actually covered as a medical thing since they were so large and giving me back pain as well. I love my TT, but I actually even love my new breasts more!! I am glad I did it all at once and the recovery from the BR/BL was nothing compared to the recovery from the TT. Good luck with your decision.
