Congratulations on your upcoming TT! In my experience, during the few times I've been under anesthesia, I have not dreamed. It's like time passes instantaneously. Odd, but comforting that you don't feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure.

I definitely did not have any dreams.

They give you some pre op happy meds that totally relax you.  I honestly do not even remember going to sleep.  It all happened so fast and you are comfortable and all cocooned in warm blankets.

The next thing you know is that you are waking up in recovery and it is all over.  Time seems to fly and you won't have any idea where it went.

It's like nothing. I remember the anesthesiologist explaining what she was going to do. I remember looking at the clock while they administered the anesthesia it was 11: 45 a.m. Then, I woke up in the recovery room in what seemed like a blink of an eye, but by the time the whole process ended with me being installed in a private room, it was already 4:30 p.m. You will be okay, but it is only natural to be afraid of the unknown and wonder.

I remember the anesthist coming in and explaining what he was going to do and the nurse as well following up. My Dr came in and did markings and poof i dont remember anything else other than waking up stitched up ready to go home :)
