Yet another swelling question....

I am 10 weeks post op and it seems like my swelling got WORSE at about 8 weeks post op and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I saw my Dr. immediately with my concerns and he says that this is a crucial time in healing and it is in fact swelling and will go down. Similar experiences anyone?

Oh yes this is the Swell Hell portion of the recovery. I had swelling for a total of seven months. The first 6-8 weeks it was horrible and then it got better and better each week after that.
But it would come and go based on activity, food, fluid intake etc. It is a roller coaster and could about drive you nuts some weeks. All normal and to be expected in the recovery.
The big thing for me was watching the sodium intake, processed food intake and NO SODA! Big no no...
