Does anyone have stretch marks that are now near incision?

I have left over stretch marks that are now right at my incision, I know I am going thru alot of swelling right now but I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issue.....puffy, inflamed stretch marks? Anyone.....please!

Not all my stretch marks got removed, and the PS said they are now 'outies', instead of 'innies'. I don't really care; I'm just happy to be rid of that flabby belly. They are low enough that no one will see them.

Mine aren't inflamed though, but they do look darker when the belly is swollen.

Thanks country gal for your reply. Yeah mine are right at the incision and that's where I have most of my swelling so they seem really puffy, I am hoping this puffy appearance subsides with time.

I'm only 3 weeks post op, most of my swelling kicked in full force at the end of week 2. So I guess this where I follow my own advice and practice patience....lol.

have a friend that had one right beside her belly button which she was not happy about but 3 months post op she can hardly even see it. I think you will see it fade in time.

I had my 8 week checkup this week, and the doc said I still had some swelling in the hip area. He said I could tell myself, by seeing that my stretch marks are still 'outies'. They are right above the incision.

I don't care if they stay; there are a lot less than before, and will easily be hidden by anything I would wear. Only hubby will see them now, and he's seen more of them for the past 24 years, and much worse than that! :D

Yep, Im 8 days out and have some majorly puffy stretchies!!! Lucky yours are just near the incision... mine go right up to my new belly button. :))

So there is hope for puffy left over stretch marks! I am almost 6 weeks post op and my swelling still comes and goes but I've already noticed a huge difference with the stretch marks. They are not as puffy as they were a few weeks ago...it depends on my swelling. But I feel much better about them because their appearance has improved alot. So I have hope that once I am completely done with the swelling stage that they will hardly be noticeable! 8-)

I am 3 1/2 months post op. Feel great, look awesome. I do still have some stretch marks, I was covered in them before, so I understand not all would ever disappear. I am happy with my results. Yes. In a perfect world, I would have none. But I am 100% satisfied with my results.
