I had a LSL almost 2 years and 8 months ago. I was pleased except I just started getting fat in the jaw area and caused me too droop a little. I discussed this with Dr. Dayhia in Chevy Chase, Maryland and he suggested Smart Lipo. I had this done 3 wks. ago and I love the results. He did lipo on my jowls and under my chin. I am told that it will keep looking better. Anyway it was easier tham getting a tooth filled. I was swollen for two days with some bruising which I could cover with makeup. I was at work 2 days later. I really love the results.

I had the lifestyle recently. Dr. Dyhia and his staff were wonderful. The first two days were bad; but, the end results were worth it. I am a Senior Citizen and its made me feel wonderfully comfortable with myself. I can't thank them enough.

So glad it worked out for u too. I still like the way I look after two yrs. Skin a little looser under my chin but thats ok. I still look alot younger and better than I did 15 yrs ago.

I had a lifestyle lift 09-2009 So far I am still pleased with the results. It was done in Reston. Yes the needles did hurt and I threw up after taking the pain med. I could not take the valium because I had too drive myself home a 2 hour drive afterwards. It hurt bad for 2 days. Once I got the wrap off and could wash my hair I felt 100per cent better. I am 62 and it took 10 to 15 yrs off my looks. I look better than I did at 45. I am getting fillers for lines around mouth and corner of mouth nxt. Month. Also I had too go back too work the 4th day. I was ok not much pain. Just having too put ice on all the time was time consuming. If this last until I am close too 70 I will do the lifestyle again.I will make sure I have someone too drive me home so I can take the valium. I had a great Dr. I go to his office in Chevy Chase Md.for fillers.

Has anyone had a lifestyle facelift at Reston, Va. recently? (10/2010) I am a female and plan on getting one there and was hoping for a good feedback. I was ready, but now I'm little bit scared. Thanks. Mary

Mary,
I am also considering a LSL this March 2011. Did you have your procedure done and how did it turn out

I am interested to know which doctor in Reston is the most professional and most truthful. I imagine it might be Dr. Lyndsey, but the credentials for both are impressive. There are so many conflicting statements about the Lifestyle Lift, I'm wondering if there are certain criteria that improve your chance of success, like weight, type of procedure, etc. Also, what is the eyelid lift? Is that part of the one-hour procedure? What is the swelling and scarring potential there? Thanks for any feedback. I've saved my money for the Lifestyle Lift, but now I'm a little scared.

I'm planning to meet wih Dr.Ravinder Dahiya, Potomac Facial Plastic Surgery for Plastic Surgery later this week, can anyone tell me if they used him to do any work and whats results you had. After reading a lot of what has been written in these forums I'm getting really nervous about keeping my appointment. PLEASE offer any help you can. Thanks

you have to know which days of the week YOUR doctor is actually in the office. they do not have doctors there every day, and the doctor that does your procedure may only be there one or two days a week. The result of my UNscheduled doctor visit to their office - I had an infection in the surgical area - I needed antibiotics and an ointment..... Thank god I went in.

I agree with Sher - BE CAUTIOUS - the whole thing is about making money. this is not a doctors office, this is a business first, foremost and always. Your medical concerns are made light of, and good luck getting to the doctor if you need help or follow up afterwards. they don't like complaints and will stonewall you repeatedly. One day, after trying for days to make an additional follwup appointment due to lingering problems with pain, scar tissue and plastic stitched poking out of my skin, I had to go in without an appointment and just sit in their lobby until they finally had the doctor see me (you have to know which days of the week YOUR

Recovery takes a minimum of 1 to 3 weeks before you can go in public. Dr. {edited} is the most professional of the doctors from the reston office. he seems more truthful than the salespeople and others in the office. Dr. {edited} is nice, but not truthful about recovery and expected results. Dr. {edited} (lady) was so disgusted with LifeStyle Lift, she left the practice. Good luck actually getting the doctor if you call the office. they change their phone number periodically and the 800 number will NOT give you the numbers to the local office. (I had to fake a medical need and say I had lost the office number to finally get the local number from the 800 number). The reston office has had at least 3 new numbers in the last year.

I am in the Washington DC/Virginia area. THere is one in Reston, VA; anybody have comments on those doctors? I am about to turn 58 and want a fresher look with a better neck appearance. Thanks.
callie (unregistered guest) 1 Oct 2007
redheaddr - go to a real plastic surgeon that specializes in face and neck surgery - do not put your one and only face and neck in the hands of this surgical mill. results are little if any for the average person, even with their 'additional' procedures. I had lipo of the jaw line, they also tried to sell me skin treatments and an eye procedure (which I did not want or need). the only thing different about my appearance are my 'stitched to the side of my face' ear lobes (a dead give away of surgery being done) and the lumpy scars around my ears....

How did the lipo in the jaw line work out?

I'm scheduled to have the LSL and upper eye lift with Dr Lindsay on 2 July and impressed with his credentials. When I met with him today, we was very up front about the surgery and explained that the results would not be as dramatic as a hospital full face lift. He explained that I would have to wear the ace bandage around my head for 6 days so the skin and muscle would bond after the surgery, and the puffiness and bruising should be gone within 2 weeks. I was concerned about the scar, but after reading the posts here, I think I will be OK. My friend had a full face lift a few years ago and I knew that was NOT what I wanted. When I look in the mirror, I look tired. At 58 I don't fell tired and this conservative lift meets my needs. The cost for the LSL and eye lift in Reston is $6,600.
