Does Anyone Have a Recommendation for a Surgeon for Rhinoplasty in Westchester County/NYC Area?

Hoping to spend less than 10k. Have been on one consult with a doctor in White Plains. He said I have thick skin and a bulbous tip. I want a natural outcome, nothing major (just slimmed down). I also hate an upturned, ski slope nose. Love straight noses. Seems most doctors do the ski slope nose, which I naturally have and hate!

I read dozens of good reviews about Dr. Eric Joseph. He is in NJ and within your price range. If he is close to you I think he is worth consulting. Good luck in your search.

You will have to raise your budget a little or your options will be very limited. There are a few with outrageous prices but I do not think their results look good. A price that's too low or too high is a red flag

I consulted with many doctors in NYC when I was looking for a surgeon. The going price for well respected specialists is pretty consistently $10,500. That's not so far off from your number. I'm sure you've already read this, but you shouldn't compromise on a surgeon based on cost. Just save a little longer. If you're intent on spending less, there are ways to get surgery for less than what Park Ave doctors charge--by using the Park Ave doctors' senior residents. They're overseen by great doctors but are in the process of completing their specialty surgery training. I've included the link to an article below in case you're looking to take that route: http://nymag.com/nymetro/health/columns/strongmedicine/5812/ Another option would be the West Coast. Doctors generally charge less in California. But traveling can be difficult when it comes to follow-ups and aftercare, not to mention the initial cost of travel for surgery. You'll have to weigh these options when you make your decision.

Thanks for the info! May I ask what Doctors you consulted with? Any recommendation in NY. It seems the "top" docs in NYC are closer to 15-20k? Is that incorrect? thx again!
