Hello all!I have had some disappointments with fillers the past couple of years--Juvederm and Restylane seem to leave me lumpy...( I know this could also be injector technique..)..and Radiesse pretty much left me-unimpressed. I had the Radiesse injected into the left side of my lower face, to fill out some hollow areas. The injector felt that my left side was worse than my right side-and felt that we only needed to fill my left area. I recall a distinct swelling to the area, that went down in about a week--with the area then looking a bit more filled in.However, my understanding was that Radiesse lasts a bit longer than other fillers? Well, barely 4 months later and I realize that not only is the hollow-ness in my face back-but it is even more pronounced now, with the area she injected almost looking like it is indented. Long story short, it looks worse than before I got it done. So, I'm kind of bummed. First that it wore off so fast--and then that it left the area worse off than when I started. I was not thrilled with my injector--especially after she talked me into Radiesse--assuring me that if I did not like it, it was dissolvable. Come to find out--it is not. It has to wear off on it's own. Which, it HAS in my case--but the fact that she had the incorrect information was a real turnoff. Has anyone else had Radiesse dissolve this quickly? Thank You!
