Do you hate your after Radiesse look?

Just had radiesse injected for laugh lines wrinkles. My dermatologist also filled in the cheek area to lift the heavy fold. I hate the results. Looks like I had cheek implants and it looks terrible. It's been 4 days and the "swelling" has not come down. Any advice on how to reverse it? Is there anything I can do to help the stuff metabolize faster?

Had radiesse for cheeks and laugh lines, both look amazing, but because the filler was injected high in the cheek, i now have horrific under eye wrinkles. Wanted to look 10 years younger, now look 10 years older.

had radiesse for the first time 2 weeks ago, laugh lines look great, but cheek filler was placed to high causing horrific under eye wrinkles. I was hoping to look nice for my 60th birthday, but the eyes make me look years older.

I had filler inject into my cheeks 3 months ago. I was such a young, beautiful, natural looking girl. Our imperfections are what make us prefect. I really miss that girl because now when I look in the mirror I do not see myself. It looks so unnatural. I didn't realize that is was going to change everything about my face. It changed my eyes. It made them look deep and sunken in. My friends said just said I look puffy and tired. It change the way my bone structure looks and my lips. I miss my natural face as god created it and im afraid I will never see that beautiful face again. Its sad how much pressure we put on yourself to be prefect. If you are considering doing filler I would advise you to think twice. We are all trying so hard to fit the image that society has installed upon us but truth is that you are perfect just the way you. You are so beautiful if you just look inside yourself and love yourself for every little thing that makes you you. I've always been blessed with a beautiful face. Now that I don't like the way I look because of filler im embracing other aspects of life and my personality. Everything that happens is meant to be and if you got bad results from filler maybe it just means that you need to put looks aside for a while focus in what matters.

I'm sorry to hear all this. I had Radiesse done twice- once each year. I love the results. My dermatologist, Dr. Charisse Dolitsky did the Radiesse injections. She's in Long Beach, New York.

Hi everyone, I feel your pain. I was injected with Radiesse over 3 years ago and still have really full cheeks. I initially liked the results but now feel that my face is too full. What concerns me is the "collagen" (c'mon, it's scar tissue) that is developed by the Radiesse. How long does this take to dissipate?

Synner. Did your Radiesse go away? Did your cheeks and face return to normal . Please tell me . thank you

It's good that we are conscious about our skin, but I think by doing this we damage our skin and we face lots of difficulty with this. First I'll advice do not use these injections for your skin as much as possible. Use natural skin care products more. If you are taking these treatments first concern to your faithful physician who know much about you that what is good and bad for you. In any case you are not able to concern, and then take up 3-15 days (suggested) test before get into these treatments. By these tests you cab be sure how these products react to you. Please Avoid these treatment as much possible and keep you Skin Healthy and Wealthy. Thanks!

Had Radiesse 4 months ago. She did corner of my mouth without consent. She did upper cheeck without consent. All i wanted was marionette . well it looks horrible. she did corners of my mouth which caused lots of drooling and difficult to talk for 4 months. there is white patch marks . & today i went in to see her with a rep from MERZ PHARMAZUETICALS . I asked bothe my docor and rep to please feel the corner of my mouth where there is a tube like feeling & and weird teardrop large shape on side of mouth to see if that was scar tissue or the material. They both said NO. I asked again. The entire reason i went there today. They said NO. I am horrified. Ofcourse they both said how pretty i look and they didn't see anything . But i my face is shapelss and has a jowl that was not there. I have very deep smile lines that were not there when i smile. & more to much typing. All i know is that i feel like frankenstein & the doctor is the mad scientist. I feel extremely violated. & disgsted my the medical community. I have had top plastic surgeon see what she did and he said " SHE BOTCHED MY FACE" I saw another DERMATOLOGIST. SHE SAID . He botched my face. Today the Radiesse Rep said that the white patched will go away and all the stuff she did will go away. I SAID WHEN. She said 1 year. I said all these people here say it lasts 4 years or doesn't go away. So please all I want to hear is do the white patches go away and does Radiesse go away & my face will be skinny again. She only did 1/2 a syringe . she said. But i look like moon face. Also the Doctor did give me a full refund. I have lost sleep . could not eat for months . have recurring nightmares of waking up to my face. Yes I still look pretty but thats irrelevent. I look terrible in photos. I have no characters like i caould makle with my mouth. the puffyiness made my upper lip smaller. I have a scar corner of lip White. Lipstick won't stay on. I have been reading your site since the moment i had this done looking for answers. I have not felt like typing because i can not think about it . it makes me terriblly depressed. More than ever. The young rep had Radiesse in her face. I felt so sorry for her. I feel fortunate i only had 1/2 syringe done. I HATE IT ALL. I would rather see a little line that was formed in the shadow. NOW I HAVE MAJOR ISSUES THAT I NEVER EVER HAD. MY DERMATOLOGIST. WHen she over filled that area after it was done. I said look at that She ran away. I went back to her i said . Do something. She said " didn't i just do the other side. you have to wait for it to go down." she did not say massage it. Also the REP today from MERZ RADIESSE - she said to massage it. i said it's hard. She said radiesse can get hard . you have to massage it. BULL SHIT. ALL FUCKING LIARS. I am beyond Irrate. going on 4th month. i am sickened beyond by all of this

Hateradiesse, your story sounds a lot like mine!! I have a botched face from filler too so I feel your pain. I now have jowls that weren't there before, hardness and discoloration along with odd swelling. I did not have radiesse so I can't tell you when it will go away. I had juvederm plus that is only supposed to last a year but it has now been 13 months. It's awful to wake up feeling disfigured and pictures are the worst! I hope yours goes away. I wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone.

Also I only wanted this crap in my lips and the woman put it everywhere too. She was trying to get me to buy more syringes! Even when I went back to complain about being overfilled she tried to sell more! How disgusting.

thank you. It seems to have softened. going on 4 months. i just hate having no character in my smile and perfect face. She made my face oval & used to be square. i can go on and on.

Merz is notoriously unscrupulous (like many pharm. companies that make insane profits. ) When I say unscrupulous i mean they are willing to essentially allow children in third world countries to die -- yes, DIE -- even when they could easily save lives. No joke. They test new products on children even when they have access to products that would work, and lie to the people they test on. They do this in countries where the people "don't matter" to them because they have no money. At first I thought this was some sort of conspiracy theory, but now that they have admitted their evils in court, and have paid fines for doing evil, it's hard to ignore the evidence. They pay I think it's now in the billions of dollars of fines and you can easily find info about their evil doings online. The fact that they are willing to pay the fines they do (and would many times over) proves that they are one hundred percent guilty, and that they are not to be trusted to act in an ethical, moral fashion. They just don't care about getting caught, I suppose, since people continue to purchase their products. I never thought such people could actually exist, since no amount of money could persuade me to hurt others willingly, and I love money! I guess not as much as big pharma....

I had radiesse injected into my cheeks 3 weeks ago, and I look like a freak. My plastic surgeon told me that it would look great once the swelling goes down, but I look uneven after the swelling go down. I am so depress now that I don't even want to go anyway. Does anyone know if it would look better later? I had juverderm done before and love the result. I shouldn't had let my surgeon talk me into getting radiesse. Please stay away from this product!

I had fat injection to my lips 3weeks ago, everything was fine till a week ago. Now I have itching burning rash to my lips. Any one had this, any help please?

Had Radiesse injected cheek bones and tear throughs 5 years ago, and it created a volume change that is permanent. Huge gigantic volume. Heard Kenalog is risky, but it's the only thing that can be attempted to dissolve Radiesse ?

Hmm...radiesse is not supposed to be permanent. Many of us wish it was!

It seems when these fillers are misplaced or overfilled they end up lasting much longer.

Nope. Read all the other entries below.... I have been waiting 4 LONG YEARS and now I have a streched out bag of skin under my eye.

I have the same results, getting married in six weeks and am besides myself. I look worse. Has anyone told you how this can be corrected

No you just have to wait ,when did u get it done? I've had it done before 2 times it was so subtle ,but now I am thin and have a very thin neck I look overfilled ,i went in for a touch up and was with a different nurse she obviously is dumb and knows nothing on assymetry and faces she turned my face into an inverted triangle, supposedly this shot can last 2 yrs ,I can't wait till this shit dissolves I'm frustrated and so is my fiance , I've become depressed sleeping all day and night , I have social anxiety so I stay in I avoid the mirror when I used to look in every mirror , the only way I look ok to me is if my hair is down straight covering sides of face , my frontal view is awful but my profile looks ok, when I ask certain people they say I look fine but I'm a perfectionist and fine just isn't ok for me , when you find a good objectors stick with them , if u ever decide to do radiesse again it can be done correctly and have great result ,but if I ever do a filler I'm probably going to stick to a temporary one , what kind of results do you have ?

I had radiesse 3 times first two times looked great . 1 syringe 2 years ago and 1 syringe Oct 2012 both were spread between cheecks nasalfolds and chin both times looked great and procedure went well. Unfortunately I went for a touch up with a different nurse ane injected uneven also she over injected my my cheecks placement is wrong for my bone structure I look horrible once a beauty . she hit a nerve that it caused extreme swellig and ever since I've had headaches in teemple and a day after for 2 weeks following procedure I experienced vision issues went to eye doctor a month later thank god I'm ok as far as pain in head its still there . I'm pissed I went to that appt. That day she made me look my age i always look ten years younger and I don't look like me. I hope this wears off soon I can't bear to look in mirror my face is larger on one side. If she didnt hurt me I would def get it fixed with juvederm something reversible and always go to a injector with experience or who has a good esthetic eye. I can't wait to look like i once did I will def appreciate natural aging.
Reply
Juvederm is not always reversible. I've been suffering from swelling complications for almost 7 months now! I've had the enzyme to remove it four times by two different doctors with no change. There are actually a lot of us on here in my situation. Just know with any filler there can be complications. I hope your radiesse problem resolves soon! Filler disasters are awful!

I'm considering it. I'm an atty. in order to prepare a huge suit need tons of people willing to tell their story and willing to be in it more for the effect on the regulations rather than monetary relief ( though they comes too) Drop me a line anyone in my inbox ( I guess you have access to it. Otherwise I'll check back and if need be I'll post my email ). There are plenty of good Drs out there competently administering Radiesse. The goal is for consistent regulations from the FDA and full disclosure from the manufacturer about the risks etc. Its not just patients like us, who are seeking anti-aging remedies, it's patients ( children also) who need reconstructive surgery and are being subjected to painful recovery and further disfigurement.
