Question: Will I need my flanks liposuctioned?

Ok post oper's (lol) can you please help me make this decision? Was wanting to know from the looks of my pics that I posted on my page...would I need my flanks lipoed? I have a lot of excess skin not that much fat...I will have my abdomen liposuctioned at no cost comes with tummy tuck procedure...but if I get flanks done that will be more money.....I personally don't think so but, I see soooo much better results when it is done....please HELP!!!

I would ask your doctor because he would know best what would pull you together properly after the tummy tuck and make your results look the best. I got the lipo of the flanks just because I didn't want any fat there at all afterwards, I wanted it all to look great and not wish I had done it later. Check out my before and after you can tell a lot. I know it wasn't a good answer but I hope it helped a little :-)

WOW!! You look amazing!! Thank you for the response...I was beginning to think no one will respond...LOL...it was very helpful!! My surgeon didn't say I needed it so I might just stick with the TT with MR...thanks again!!

I haven't had my TT yet but I am having lipo too of everything I figure if I'm going throw this pain let me get it all done in one shot so I want have any regrets and have to do it again. Just saying

I also struggled with the question of lipo on the flanks and decided to do it....sometimes when I look at myself I wonder if it was too much....I know my "flank" area would have gotten smaller with weight loss and saved me $1,800. I didn't hate my "figure" or "shape"...just my lower ab... I'm still unsure if I made the right decision on the lipo.

HI kidz2many I think you look great! This is my personal opinion but for me the flanks area is very hard to get rid of. I lost a lot of weight about 4 years ago and got down to my lowest, but the flanks area just wouldn't budge. It was kind of like my stomach, it was so damaged by kids nothing would get rid of the flab, same with my flanks. You might be different but it is a very hard area in my opinion to get rid of. You look wonderful and you will never know so I wouldn't regret it!
