Nervous... Low Pain Tolerance

Hey All, I'm getting my smart lipo in a couple weeks and am getting very nervous.  Im a RN and probably the biggest baby of them all.  Can someone please tell me how bad it really hurts the next day or two.  I'm scared.  Is it worth the pain  (no pain no gain, but still)? I've had four kids, major back surgery but am a nervous wreck.  I am 5 ft 2 in and weigh 124 lbs.  I've alway been very self conscious about my stomach and really want this done but I'm still scared.   Please talk me into getting this done... I have a low pain tolerance as well. I won't lie - the evening of and the first day after it hurt a lot. If I laid very still, I was fine. But I needed help getting in and out of bed and rolling over was painful. It is a sore kind of pain though - not a hurt kind of pain. It really did feel like I had worked out for HOURS and HOURS. By the 2nd day it had subsided a lot. I'm a week out now, and still sore, but it's not bad.

Hey Tracy,

Welcome to RealSelf. I haven't had Smart Lipo myself, but the pain really does differ from person to person. It may be helpful for you to read through some of the Smart Lipo Reviews and get an idea of what some of the other community members went through!
