When does post-op swelling peak? Please tell me its day 3 cuz I don't think my boobies can get any bigger or hurt any more!

Hi sexy...Its been a complete week after my surgeries n its been like in a dream..i stay drugged up most of the time..i had a very bad experience with nauseas,i've been vomiting and its the worst i had experienced so far. the dr told me to take some medicine for nausea n it helped a lot... my stomach had a big hematoma on the right side n my dr had to suck half of a litter of retained blood from there... it hurt a lot, but then i felt relieved for not having that pressure and tightness on my stomach anymore... i thought i was gonna have some swelling but strangely enough, my boobies never got swollen,i got my implants under the muscle..r urs above or under? i didnt get any lipo,only when the dr had to use his lipo equipment to get out that blood..hang in there...do u have family around u helping u all the time? i've been blessed with my fiancee who has been there every second with me, n my mom n sister...wish u a fast recovery

The hematoma doesn't sound pleasant at all. Sorry you've had to deal with that. I have definitely stayed on top of my meds too. Today (day 5) is the first day that I've thought about backing off meds a slight bit. Maybe I'll try tomorrow going 5-6 hours in between instead of 4. I did get unders and they are up high and partially in my armpits! I'm very ready for them to start dropping. I worked out a lot before so it probably has something to do with tighter pec muscles. Its not to painful anymore just pretty uncomfortable a times when the swelling is at its worst. Every day is geting slightly better. I'm jut not a patient person and I'm soooo tired of sitting/reclining around. My husband and kids have been awesome. I'm just being a whiner. :-)

Thanx, oakley. It helps to hear that. Its so hard to think about 2 weeks out when I can barely make it thru one day. I know I'll get there and be happy eventually. :-)

Oakley, Arlington, how are you girls doing? I'm at the end of my 2nd day post-op and have to admit I feel pretty awful overall. Did you ladies have lipo to? If so how long does it feel so sore? How long do your breasts stay super swollen? I know I'm still in that window of time that's the worst (first 3-4 days). This is taking every ounce of mental and physical stamina for me to get thru this.
Beforehand I just kept reading that it wont be as bad as you think its gonna be, etc. I either had too low of pain expectatons or on the scale of averages my experience just happens to be on the worse end.
Idk. I need encouragement to make it thru this next few days.

Yes, I had lipo of my flanks too. I had a pain pump, but even with that I was pretty sore for the first week. It gets a little easier every day. I had my implants exchanged from saline to silicone and a areola reduction ( kinda like a lift), so my boobs never really hurt. My incision and my lipo areas felt like they were on fire for the first two weeks, but that gets better too. It will all be so worth it in the end. Just think about your new sexy body. I'm three weeks post op and even with the swelling and the binder on, I can fit in most of my clothes.

Hi,

Im having mine on may 27th..Im gettin TT, BL n BA...im 5'4, 145lbs.. Im getting 450cc silicone low profile...Has anyone here regretted the size later on? Im have some doubts about the size, I think they will be big, but then I like it big. I workout a lot, weight training the most. Has anyone had any problems after having BL n BA?

Hi Arlington, I go in the day before you! From all that I've read and from plastic surgeons, the number one reason for BA re-do's is because the client did not go big enough the first time. So if you like big, I wouldn't go any smaller than 450cc's

Had my mommy makeover 5 days ago and it's swollen. I can't envision the light at the end of the tunnel because I don't like how my tummy looks now. Anyone else have this problem? It seems like everyone else's stomachs are flat.

Oakley I am 2 wks post op and I am now only getting a glimps in the morning before the swelling starts of what I'm going to look like. Give it some time - I'm sure it's just swelling. I didn't have my muscles tightened - did you? I still have alot of work ahead of me to try and get rid of my lax muscles. Take regular pictures it helps to compare them. You'll love it soon.

No Oakley! You'll be fine girl. As soon as you get in there they'll give you some meds to relax you. Just think about how smokin hot your body will look when this is all over with. Don't worry!

Anyone had their procedure yet? Fill us in!!
I paid for mine on Thursday, then felt like I was going to barf :). So close now! I have a race next Sunday, a baby shower the following Saturday, my pre op, my anniversary, and memorial day to distract me, but I'm still pretty jacked up about the whole deal!

Hi Amy I had my TT (w/o MR) BR and Lipo of Abdomen, flanks and back on May 2. So I am 6 days post op and the pain is really not that bad. I have had more issues with like gas pains under my ribs then anything else. I am also very purple ;0) I am sure that once the swelling goes down and I don't look 4 month pregnant I will be so very happy with my new look.

When is your surgery date? Mine is the 31st. My pre-op is the 18th! I can relate to the naseus feeling after paying. I'm sure I will be experiencing the same when I pay too.
I've got plenty going on to distract me also, but am a little worried that I'll be so busy that I won't be ready. Does that make sense. I want to make sure that I'm not too busy and have time to prepare mentally as well as all of the physical items. I'm just not sure what I need to purchase to have ready. I've seen lists of items to have ready, but without having gone to my pre-op yet I'm not sure what exactly I'll need or where to get everything (ie. how much my PS will have or be able to recommend).
I've wanted this for so long and now it's suddenly here!

I have my pre-op tomorrow! I'm so ready to take this next step. I hope the rest of the time will just fly by! I hope I don't feel overwhelmed with info tomorrow. At least my husband is going along to help me remember it all.
