I'm 2 days post op from a mini TT and smart lipo to my flanks, hips, back, inner and outer thighs. The surgery went really well and so far the pain has been 2 to 3 on a scale from 1 to 10. I came home with a fanny pack containing a pain pump. It has been amazing because I haven't had to take any pain meds other than Tylenol and haven't had any nausea. Ladies, if you haven't had the procedure yet, check with your PS because the pain pump is the bomb! I've been able to eat, use the bathroom and even take a shower (with some help from my hubby) with very little incision pain. So far, my major aches and pains have been from the lipo. And the bruising! Yikes. I'd say if you're a few days post op from lipo, don't look! My thighs and hips look like those ink blot drawings you try to figure out what the picture is. I'm still pretty swollen too, so I know I'm not seeing the results of the procedure yet. Best advice is be patient. Take care of yourself. Relax and do all the things you never have time for like watching chick flicks, reading books, lounging on the couch or painting your nails. Before we all know it, we'll be back in action with smoking hot abs! My best to all of you for a successful procedure and a speedy recovery. Thanks for all the support and keep posting your comments. I don't feel like I'm on an island this way, although I'll plan on visiting one next summer in a skimpy bikini! Lisa

Hello, fellow TT friends! Day 5 post op and feeling almost like my old self again (only so much more contoured!) The swelling has gone down substantially, and I'm starting to see the new shape my body is settling into. I have one drain that's running around 80 per day and I'm hoping to get to 40 by Monday ( my third post op appointment) so I can have it removed. Has anyone had issues with blistering from the drain tube? I have a few spots that have rubbed raw, and I needed to place gauze tissues under the tube to reduce the chafing. Finally, how I'm feeling emotionally. I am thrilled with the results so far, and am looking forward to seeing my new shape develop over the next few months. I waited 15 years after my scheduled C section from my second son (I had a high risk pregnancy) and I accepted my stretch marks and my bulges and scars because my body did its job and brought two wonderful boys into the world. For years, I would wear a bikini and let it hang out, and I even got into belly dancing and performed with my "stealth abs". I loved my body, but I also wondered how I would feel getting back to my pre-baby self. Once I gave myself permission to imagine how good I'd look and feel, I scheduled a consult with a very qualified PS with 40+ years experience. I couldn't be happier with my results so far, and I know they're only going to get better. I should have allowed myself to feel this good 10 years ago!!!! If you are on the fence about whether you deserve it, YOU DO! I'll post pics this afternoon. Thanks for everyone's support on this site. It's wonderful to have a community to support us through this journey!
