I have had a cleo for eight years upgrading to the Cleo Q a year ago. I think despite what people say it does work, i'm now 31 and my muscle tone in my face is excellent and i dont have any wrinkles.
The only problem i have is that the Cleo Q unit itself is total rubbish. ITs a small tacky plastic machine which is delicate and definately not worth over three hundred pound. Fortunately the results do outweigh the actual machine itself but be firm with the company if things go wrong. Definately take out the three year warranty and you should be fine. It does cost quite a bit to maintain thirty pound every few months for pads, they've brought out new leads which are thirty pound which go every few motnhs and need to be replaced but i do believe it is worth it! You need to use it as directed though but that can be for as little as 7 minutes a day!
I too have had the Cleo for a good few years and then up graded to the new type but was bitterly disappointed and would love to have the old one back. I found it far more controllable and of better quality. However, even though I've had it for years I haven't used it consistently, I have to find times when my husband and children aren't around for fear of having the mickey taken so I can't really report any results. Sad isn't it!!!

I've used CleoII since 2003 then bought CleoQ 18 months ago, using it EVERY day - despite this I can't honestly say it works!! I never noticed any difference except that it helped skin circulation; I only kept using it in case there was some benefit that I didn't realise which'd revert if I stopped, but as the over-priced leads seem to last all of 5 minutes [Anyone'd think they were badly made, so you have to buy more...]& it seems the company are just out to fleece their customers, then I think its time I knocked it on the head. I'll let you know if my face suddenly falls off...
I having used the Cleo Q for the first time last week I found that it seemed to damage my skin leaving deep set wrinkles. Kayco have been unhelpful and I doubt I will get my money back. I have used a cheap hand held facial excerciser before which produced excellent results I wish I'd stuck to that.
I am 60...have used the Cleo 2 since I was 52 & it definitely holds my face up! More tone & body. I do not think it prevents wrinkles.
I got the Cleo Q & was hugely disappointed in it. I lost the "lift" over the eyebrows that Cleo 2 had sustained. It also left my neck marked...presumably nerve damage...so I went back to the Cleo 2 & am still pleased with it.
Don't bother with the Cleo Q...not worth the money!
i agree cleo q is badley made, over priced, the old cleo 2 machine was alot better,i am also very dissapointed,i also agree cleo 2 kept the lift over eyebrows, cleo q does not,NOT WORTH MONEY
I used to own the Cleo 2 machine which I found when used frequently gave good results. I decided to trade my Cleo 2 for the new little compact machine. Cleo Q. It worked fine for a while but the back has now broken and I don't think the results are as good.I think it is a lot of money for such a small piece of thin plastic. It isn't robust at all. The Cleo 2 gave much better results especially the eye lid area. The Cleo Q hasn't helped my eyelid area infact they look worse.
Hello ladies, I feel I would like to tell you about my experience with Cleo. I was bought the cleo 11 for my 36th birthday. I am now 51. I have used it three times a week since. I have lines around my eyes but the rest of my face looks 15 years younger. PPl often ask if I am using botox etc. Ive seen the plastic results of botox, why freeze muscles when you healthily can build them up. The machine is great for skin tone and clears up blemishes. A tip for you, after three to six months, use setting 3 (usually just for the body) to build the cheeks up. I tried the new little machine and hated it, went straight back to the old machine. I would say it is rediculously expensive for the pads. The batteries soon mount up too. But if you use it, it works. Jaw is tight and brows still lifted. Menopause is a rotten thing and skin changes with it. The cleo actually helps to keep the skin elastic and even toned. Good for eye bags too. My lips are full and unlined as I have built up my chin area. I would suggest you get the cleo 11 which is still cheaper than expensive salon machines. Hope this helps. ps work in the beauty industry so seen whats out there.
this picture is recent to show cleo 11 results at 51. As you can see, I have used level 3 (athough the manufacturers say not to for the face) to build cheeks and chin. Jaw tightening. A positive result I can not get from anything else I have tried. A fit healthy face is a confidence builder.
bought a Cleo II and used it exactly as instructions said for a year and half. No difference noticed at all apart from wallet being much lighter! Regard it as a total waste of money and don't even want to put it on E bay as I feel it is a waste of the £400 I spent and a real, genuine con.
Extremely disappointed and saddened at the waste of money. Wish I had given the money to Oxfam and done some one some use.
I bought the Cleo Q and used it only a couple of times. The sticky pads would not stay on and I had to put band aids on them to keep them in place and the conector kept falling out of the machine.I cannot say if it works but found the whole experience very annoying! A very tacky plastic overpriced gadget. I returned it and now am happy using a cheaper hamd held device.
Have to say, yes the sticky pads are infuriating and do cost a lot to buy. But persevere, it is a pain but it works. The cleo two is better that the Q. have used both but get better results with Cleo 11
