Calling all you experts--Mariah Carey: Tummy tuck or not??

You may have seen Mariah Carey baring her midriff just 6 months after having TWINS. It's so flat and her belly button looks suspiciously like a tummy tuck to me. She's talking about her new gig as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman and gives all the credit to diet and exercise. What do you all think? I'm trying to find an old pic of her belly button to confirm my suspicions. She just looks way too flat and tight to have done this w/o the good old TT. :-)

I guess my thoughts are "Way To Go Mariah".  How ever she did it you go girl.   I am all for doing what ever it takes to bring body back!

I just had to go out and buy the magazine and from the article inside they have a previous picture of her and from the front page picture her belly button is totally different not saying she HAD a tummytuck because they have the luxary of using photo shop but ya never know ;)

I do think she had a TT but I certainly do not judge her as I just scheduled one myself.
Many people want to keep it private, even those of us who aren't famous.
But I do agree it can be a little annoying to hear celebs wax on about how they just hit the gym or they dropped all the weight from breast feeding...or those with a frozen face who claim to have never had Botox. They certainly deserve privacy and don't owe it to anyone to fess up to procedures but at least they could just keep their mouth closed instead of making false claims (for those that do...not saying everyone is Hollywood is full of crap :)

I'm obviously in full support of tummy tucks, but IF she did have one, then it is really dishonest to accept money from Jenny Craig and represent to the public that she did that through diet and exercise alone. As we all know, you can diet and exercise 'til the cows come home and it won't rid you of the stretched out skin and separated muscles!! Even if she wasn't getting paid to sell the Jenny Craig diet, I think it's almost cruel for the Hollywood types to make such a show of losing baby weight super fast. I think it sets an unrealistic standard for real world moms who are more focused on their new babies than their waistlines in those first 6 months!

I agree. It's not the fact that you had it done but acting like you didn't and being paid for it (weight loss) is wrong. It makes the rest of is look like we ate just not trying hard enough to lose weight. My husband kept telling me to just go to the gym more as if that can fix muscle separation and remove extra skin!

I gained quite a bit of weight and lost it after pregnancy and my belly button is still saggy! I vote for tummy tuck. Regardless, she looks great!

It does not matter to me if she did a TT or not, but if she did it, I just want to see the scar. :)

Ha! I'd love to see the scar too. You can't see a scar on her belly button, which is awesome after a max of 6 months. I'm quite sure she had a very good surgeon!

I really don't understand why it even matters. Mariah Carey looks wonderful after having twins. She looks 'healthy' and 'happy' and I think that should be all that matters. Funny no one questioned it when Jennifer Lopez regained a super flat stomach after twins, when Julia Roberts regained her flat stomach after twins, or when super model Nikki Taylor regained her flat stomach after twins. But for Mariah there has to be some kind of investigation conducted? It's silly. What does it 'really' matter how she did it so long as the outcome had positive results, & natural looking results. I have seen some surgeries go horribly wrong. Heck if I could afford a nip/tuck/lift in some places on my body I'd for darn sure do it. And for the record belly buttons are not always the same after having twins, or children in general, therefore that is no true determination of a tummy tuck. Some tucks don't even require altering the navel at all. However, if you're basing your theory that Mariah Carey had a tummy tuck off of how her navel looks then I'd have to say she has the 'BEST' looking navel I have ever seen after a supposed tummy tuck.

I don't think any of us would judge anyone for having a TT, but I do think it's disingenuous for anyone to tote their flat tummy success on 100% personal perseverance (diet and exercise) when, in fact, surgical intervention was necessary. No shame in surgical interference, but shame on them for lying by omission.

I totally get your point. However, I have not seen any interview where Mariah Carey stated that she got her flat tummy by being on Jenny diet. In fact what she said was that she lost 30 lbs while on the Jenny diet. It's others that have gone on a tangent about Mariah Carey having a tummy tuck. I have seen pics of the woman working out in NYC and she clearly had a 'pouch', her stomach was not 'flat'. But she has never claimed to have gotten a flat stomach from the Jenny diet, at least I never read/heard it.

i also bought the magazine and being a tummy tucker myself and looking at so many after pics it was the first thing that came to my mind that she too has had a tummy tuck,which is totally fair is she needed it but why say she looks as perfect as she does from simply exercise and healthy eating, i ate very healthy worked out 6 days a week had a very healthy weight but if your skin is damaged no matter what u do only surgery can get rid of it

Girl I thought the same thing and I went online to look at pictures of her stomach before the babies. before her belly button was really in abut now it not only looks like a tummy tuck navel but it is totally different. Why lie? Come on you have alot of money already!

I watched the Jenny Craig commercial and yes she did have a TT. I looked at a magazine of MC before she got pregnant and her belly button looks different, plus she had a mole on the left side her BB and now it's gone... She totally got a TT...

I was always a size 4, 110 lbs (without really needing to work out that much or watch what I ate) and then like Mariah had twins thru IVF and there is NO way my tummy will ever look flat without surgery. BTW, Juliet Roberts has a great tummy but you can tell she had kids. Very natural looking pooch.

I had one too and that's exactly what the belly button looks like afterwards. I just hate the way she pretends it's all natural.. when it's not.And pretends it's all Jenny Craig eating. that is pretty bad!

I know she had a tummy tuck cuz I had one and it changed the shape of her belly button. I zoomed into the cover picture and oh yeah no doubt. She used to have an inny now she has a semi outie that is not shaped right. So despite the fact she had twins and no stretch marks, she's totally flat. When Brittany Spears had her baby #one, she had a little
pooch even though she worked out. I'm not against tucks but don't deceive the public. They are who made her famous.

Tummy tuck scars are horrendous!! My friend got a TT my stretch marks are bad but her stretch marks were still there and the huge scar too

There are also mini tummy tucks, where they make the cut just like a c-section if not a lot of skin is needed to be removed. I have a scar from hip to hip, so I am aware of how tucks look. I know she didn't have lipo because that doesn't change the shape of your belly button.
