Bump on the nose, is this normal or am I in trouble?

Please see my question with picture of me after one month. I am worry that the bump or slight drop is not swelling but the cartilage itself. Has anyone have this problem? It looks like you've gotten some good doctor answers to your question. Unfortunately, you won't be able to tell if the bump is swelling or not for a few months. I know it's hard to be patient, but that's what is called for right now.
Maybe a few RealSelf users who've been through something similar will chime in...
