what to ASK before a mommy make-over???

My consult is tomorrow. I have my list of questions, photos, and all info I want to bring. I thought it would be a novel idea to start a list from all of you smart, smart ladies. The question? What should I ask my plastic suregon before going under the knife?

As long as you have researched you PS well, you should already know about his qualifications. My main questions were regarding the scar placement, the look of the belly button afterwards, and recommended scar treatment therapies. What are you going in for? Make sure you go to more than ONE consultations, at least two. I had 3 consults, before deciding on my PS. Good luck to you! :)

I have he is board certified with hospital privelages at more than one hospital. Never any issues with the board..... no malpractice suits...... lots of word of mouth recomendations. from friends and friends of friends. I am getting a TT BL and BA. I will do multiple consults... Belly button look good good.. OK on my list thanks. thats why I ask because some people think of things we (I ) dont. 100 heads are better than 1.. thank you

HERE WE GO! That's right. I found a doctor that I like, and I am scheduled. The big date is August 10th 2011. I am getting a mommy makeover as follows: Full TT, BL (benelli method) and BA (380-400 cc) saline implants. I plan to post one more before picture, very soon. I am also going to post after pictures. you already have such a nice figure, your results are going to be amazing!!! What made you decide to go with saline? I'm still on the fence about silicone or saline.

You rock, thanks for making me smile :)I picked saline for a few reasons. One main one, I have larger muscle on my chest, with more muscle mass there, and broader shoulders, I do not need the silicone ones. With the cost being more, and the results showing no difference with my body type. It just made sense to me. I know the silicone is much safer than it was 15 years ago...but for some reason, it stills freaks me out a little. ha.

Thanks! It went almost 100% great. He is a great Dr. and he is very good at what he does. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the whole cost. $17,000. Time to readjust and see what I can do to make this work. I may have to do the TT first, then BA later. We shall see.

I realize that your consultation was yesterday, but here's a list of generic (not mommy makeover specific) questions to ask a plastic surgeon. How did your consult go?
