I still have jowls and double chin. Loose skin is better than before.
2 months after a facelift, things should look amazingly good. Unfortunately, if they don't, they will not be getting better as things continue to heal. Often times, lifts are performed and excess skin is removed, but jowls and laxity under the chin remain. This is due to the fact that the underlying SMAS and muscle were not adequately released and addressed during the procedure. Often times, rather sophisticated facelift techniques are necessary to give patients the youthful neckline they desire. Not all surgeons can perform these more sophisticated techniques. I would need to personally evaluate your anatomy to determine the best course of action, but in virtually all circumstances, an extended SMAS deep plane facelift with customized platysmaplasty will correct all of a patient's concerning features of lower face aging. All with only 1-2 weeks of downtime.

My friend has a 10cm maligant tumor on tail of pancreas. He is having a 6 hour face lift soon. He was not honest with the plastic surgeon and did not tell him about his cancer. What are his risks. Thank you
This one is easy. Your friend should hold off on the facelift and have the tumor treated. Once the treatment has been completed, then they can revisit the facelift issue. The risks have already been discussed. In addition, if there are complications with the facelift, it could delay getting treatment for the cancer. I hope you can convince your friend to do the right thing.
I have significantly noticeable bulges beginning slightly below either side of my mouth and radiating towards my ears where my skin has been pulled. I am three weeks post surgery and still have swelling on the sides of my face.
After 3 weeks, depending on what type of facelift was performed, it is not that unusual to see some areas that don't look quite normal or right. Be patient, discuss this with your surgeon, and gently massage the areas. More than likely you will look great in a few more weeks.
