When Can I Resume Exercise After Liposuction of Waist and Thighs? I had liposuction over my saddlebags, abdomen,&outer thighs,& a little over my lower back. It has been 1 wk.I have been wearing the compression garment as instructed & had a small umbilical hernia repaired w 1 small stitch I started walking my dogs soon after the surgery. Nothing strenuous, just 40 min. Is that ok? I know I can't do any strenuous exercise for at least 2 wks I normally jog 4 miles/day, weight train,& spin on a bike. Do you think my swelling will take longer to go down?

A: Hernia is the rate limiting factor

Thanks for your question. In my practice your hernia repair would be the rate limiting part of your procedures. Depending on how large and difficult it was to repair would affect my decision.

Can I Achieve an Inner Thigh Gap with Lipo? (photo) Is it possible for me to achieve that beautiful SPACE or GAP between my thighs with liposuction? My thighs constantly rub, making running/walking/jogging difficult when i work out, and it wears out my pants. It also makes me extremely self conscious. Can this be achieved on me? Thanks in advance!

A: A gap is possible

Thanks for your question. I think it is a reasonable goal to expect a gap after liposuction of your inner thighs. Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon.

Liposuction to Buttocks, Is this a Bad Idea for Me? (photo) I am getting liposuction to my inner and outer thighs and possibly buttocks. I have always disliked the shape of my bum. In particular there is a crease between my buttocks and thigh and thus my buttocks appears to "droop". However, I am concerned that buttocks liposuction may actually worsen the crease and result in a flat shapeless bottom. Are there any other procedures to shape my bum? I have heard of fat grafting and was wondering if this would be suitable?

A: Buttock lipo when needed

The pictures that you provided show that you probable do no need lipo of the buttock area. The lateral thigh lipo will improve your appearance and possible lipo of the medial thigh but the buttock lipo will not .
