I am an educator at a school working with students. We are updating our consultation form and would like to know the safest recommended time a client should be off topical antibiotics, retin-A, etc. and how long after a laser treatment can they have microdermabrasion at the school?
The ideal time frame to perform a microderm after a client has received an IPL treatment is 7-14 days after their IPL. This will enable the pigmentation and sun damage to be drawn to the surface for exfoliation without residual erythema from the IPL treatment still present. Hope that helps! God Bless!
How long should I wait to get Microdermabrasion after Juvederm in cheeks?
Since microdermabrasion is only affecting the outer layer of the skin and fillers like Juvederm are used deeper in the skin, they could be done on the same day if desired.
