I decided to write this review because I had difficulty finding information prior to my surgery. Briefly thus is my story. I had a breast reduction in NYC in 1997, that left me with an a cup and a c cup. Sheesh, fast forward a few years and I got implants in 2002 asked for a D and received a full DDD. So after several years and crazy money later, I finally decided to have them drained of the... more
When I decided to go ahead with bilateral Mastopexy (breast uplift) surgery, I met with several surgeons in Winston Salem & Charlotte. Once I met with Dr Kara Criswell I knew I had met my surgeon. I never felt like I was being rushed throught the process and the entire team took time to answer my questions in a manner that I could understand. I was shown before and after photos for the... more
After having 2 children I wasn't happy with how my breast looked. I was something that bothered me every time I saw my body naked. My breasts had gone to far south and I wanted them back up where they used to be before my pregnancies. So I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Capizzi at Stillwater Plastic surgery. He and his entire staff were amazing. I had lots of questions like would the... more
This was my journey to taking action for my life: Every woman dreads bra shopping whether you are large or small ...short or tall it's always a situation you have to get right frame of mind too do.... And it’s never fun. My bra shopping experiences began at a rather early age and by the time I was 16 I had blossomed with a full bosom, rounding out to a 32 DDD. On a frame of 5'6" and at a... more
My procedure went better than I expected. I didn't experience much pain. The worst part about the procedure was just having the bandages on my chest for a week and not being able to wash my chest. I honestly wish I would have done this sooner. Remember it will be difficult to wash/brush your hair so having so dry shampoo was helpful and stock up on movies and your favorite food because... more
9 days til my big day. I'm so excited and scared too! My oldest daughter is 18, I always knew I'd do it, but had to finish having babies. My youngest is now 4 and I turned 40 this year, decided I wanted my college body back. Lost 30 pounds, 60+ inches and knew it was time. I want to drop another 10-15 pounds, but dr said I will be fine to lift now. As a photographer I am super busy leading... more
I had saline implants put in at age 23. I went from an A cup to a D cup. I was unhappy immediately because they didn't look symmetrical and the implants were visible at the sides of my breasts. 11 years and two kids later, my ugly boobs became painfully ugly. My husband called me "one hangs low". It was time to get them redone. 6 months ago at age 34, I had the saline implants replaced with... more
