I am having terrible time since 1st time Juvederm and Botox. The first thing was horrible bruising that lasted 2.5 weeks, then the pillowing effected under the eyes. Then the drooping brow and eyelids. Now I just noticed day 25 my eyebrows are so very thin with a few balding patches? Is this a side effect of Botox? I am scared to get up each day and find something new.
This is not likely a side effect of the Botox. It is possible that if the Juvederm or any other filler is injected close to or into a near by vascular supply of the eyebrow that it would cause skin or hair loss. Hopefully if this is the reason, it will be temporary. It is critical to choose your injector as potential side effects and undesirable consequences could be significant and prolonged.
One of my staff left out an undiluted bottle of Botox in the room, and it was not refrigerated for about 3 days. Is it still effective?
Although the Allergan and FDA advise refrigeration of unreconstituted BOTOX, over night storage at room temperature in a well air conditioned office should have negligible or no effect on the potency of BOTOX.
