Q: What are good Fraxel laser alternatives? asked by Anonymous

A:
Given the relatively shallower skin penetration of Fraxel Restore compared to Fractional CO2 Laser, you may need multiple Fraxel treatments before approaching the clinical outcomes of ONE Fractional CO2 Laser resurfacing. Even though Fractional CO2 Laser is superior for rejuvenation, reversal of sun damage and acne scar revision, it also has greater risk of post treatment redness or pigmentation in the hands of less experienced laser surgeons who may not have performed adequate number of laser resurfacing of your skin type.
