can a cosmetic surgeon tell me more about the liposculpture option. Does it work on saddle bags (my main problem)?
LipoSculpture is just another term for liposuction but sometimes refers to a unique method called "VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture." It conveys the idea that you can actually sculpt the body with minimal incisions. Liposuction is a procedure where fat is removed from under the skin through small incisions. In my experience of over 20 years of liposuction I personally believe that the best option is VASER liposuction or VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture. This involves an ultrasonic wand that literally melts the fat with high intensity vibration and allows for easier smoother removal with less chance of bumps and wrinkles. Liposuction is ideal for saddlebags. Consult a Board Certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in VASER liposuction or VASER Hi Def LipoSculpture to discuss your concerns.
Hello everyone... I had liposculture 2 weeks ago and I am not too happy with the results so far... My stomach is sooo lumpy and bumpy, I am freaking out.... I am doing lympathic massages combined with endermology... In how long should I see the results? I feel that when I wear my garment my stomach gets bumpier and harder... Please help!!!! Thank you
Two weeks is early to see results with LipoSculpture. Without seeing you it is very difficult to comment. However ultrasound therapy can help with lumpy and bumpy areas. Usually 3 to 4 sessions are all that is needed. Sometimes the garment can create folds and indentations since they are not custom made to your dimensions but are fitted as close as something off the rack can be. Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. You may just need a different garment or extra padding over certain areas.
Is there time for liposculpture? It is now November and I am getting married in March 2010. I am considering getting liposculpture on my abdomen (lower) and 'love handles'. Will 3 or so months be sufficent recovery time to look good (and not swollen) on the big day?
Yes, 3 months should be easily enough time. Although final results can take up to six months, most of the swelling is down by three months. You should fit into your wedding dress just fine and look gorgeous on your big day.
