Rasping Side of Nose Bone by Eye Area?

I had rhinoplasty one year ago. Two weeks after surgery I noticed drastic swelling at the top of my nose on the right side near my under eye area. My doctor said it was a bone bruise and would heal with time. It has improved but is still obviously raised and creates a huge dark circle under my eye. My doctor said he could easily rasp the bone down but is now saying it is a risky procedure and suggests I do nothing about it. I don't understand and still really want this to be fixed.

A: Revision of rhinoplasty

By your description, this is likely a sequelae of the osteotomy (break).  If this is firm and xrays show bone then I would believe that rasping it under a local/sedation procedure should fix the problem.
