I have a hypertrophic scar on my face. I had 2 treatment of kenalog and v beam lasers and was seeing improvement. the kenalog really made my scar flatten down. 2 weeks ago I had face fat transfer and dr suggested put a little Nanofat/prp into the raised scar as well coz it helps the texture in long run. My question is how soon after this can I have kenalog/laser again, I dont want to interrupt the Nanofat but I also want it to be as flat as possible asap so it can be covered by makeup.
While there was the swelling you could not see the dimple at all. The plastic surgeon told me over a few months some fat would go away. It's only been a few weeks and my chin dimple almost (not completely) looks the way it did before in certain lighting. What do I do. I paid good money for this and it is disheartening to see it return after just a few weeks.
Will my smile return to normal? I had sliding genioplasty and fat transfer to my cheeks 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I am still numb on my chin and the incision inside my mouth can still be painful at times. I still cant bite into an apple if that gives an idea of where Im at in my healing. Im worried. Also, i feel as though too much fat was placed in my cheeks...
So ive had fat transfer done twice both times was a waste. After the first couple weeks i think i look great , but it doesnt last. Its been almost two weeks this time and i can already see my body getting back fat was removed so it'll help with the swelling . I asked if he knew how much fat would survive he said No just make sure i wear my compression. Ive been wearing it day, night. I want just want hips . What can i do now?
I'm 2 weeks post fat grafting to malar, buccal areas in cheek and temples. Doc and I agreed to transfer 30cc of purified fat, which he ended up using on my face. I feel like most of my swelling is gone: 1) Could most swelling be gone at 2 weeks? 2) Is this close to my final result? I know I'll lose some fat over next few months but how much is lost after 2 weeks? 3) Would 30cc give me a substantial (noticeable) correction? I asked for that and hope to see a fuller version of myself. Thank you.
I had a dr basically talk me into getting a fat transfer to my upper cheek & under eye area. It's been 2 weeks and I'm upset & very concerned. I feel like the fat in my cheeks are not symmetrical & seems my left has more fat and sits lower. Seems too much. I don't look like myself. I've read that steroids (could you explain in more detail about that?) And another option is to get it lipo out but seems to be that it's very difficult and I would like to avoid any more surgery or downtime etc
I had fat transfer done 2 weeks ago to my hips only and for couple of days now when I get up from a sitting position to walk I get this shocking feeling in my right thigh where I had the fat transfer. What could be the cause of this and is it normal?
I had full facial fat grafting (cheeks, nasalobial folds, forehead, temples, chin) 12 days ago. I'm happy how it looks like on the 1st and 2nd day because my face looks really V-shaped and lifted, with the volume high up in the cheeks. However, by the end of the week, I look round and saggy. My tear trough and nasalobial folds look even deeper and there are jowls. I'm so worried the fat shifted downwards. Does swelling tend to sink to the bottom after some time and can it make the face sag?
