Doctors recommended to perform a surgery on this to fix it but I saw a lot of patients had scars on their faces after the surgery. Will eyelid tape even my eyelids out?
Doing taping and massage as instructed By PS, but space seems too significant for these interventions and no improvement so far. Can a significant retraction such as mine be corrected with these measures or am I doing more harm than good?
Before blepharoplasty, my eyelid space between the crease and lashes was 10mm if I slept with eyelid tape overnight and then took it off in the morning (the crease would stay the whole day). Without it, i would be 8mm. The surgeon claimed that getting an 8mm crease on my eyes would make the crease look higher than the 10mm i had before surgery. This cant be true right? From what Ive been observing from my recovery, a swollen 8mm crease looks like a 10mm crease and i heard it'll get 50% smaller
I have 1 double eyelid and 1 monolid. This makes it very frustrating to put on eye makeup. I have tried making a fold to where i want it, but it's only temp and goes back to a monolid when I blink. The picture is of my one double eyelid and my one monolid. The other picture is of 2 double eyelids when i poke my eye a certain way to get a double eyelid. Does anyone have any tips or ideas of how to get a permanent double eyelid? I am reluctant to use tape/glue bc I have heard eyelids can get saggy
I started using double eyelid around 5 months ago , 24/7, for several days(refer to my previous post),trying to create a slightly larger tapered crease. My natural crease did not come back.I was instead left with a smaller eye. In a hasty attempt I discovered that if I wore the tape to bed,and 1hr each morning,I would have a crease for the rest of the day, reapplying new tape at night.I want my natural crease back without surgery, and do not want to do any more damage to my young eyelids.
I had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) 7 weeks ago and am worried that I may have a permanent hypertrophic scar on one eyelid! It's raised above the incision line & lumpy beneath. My surgeon has no idea why & doctors here say that I should be patient & the scar will flatten and fade with time, however, the care advise has varied. Should I massage it daily, try silicone sheets/gel, try using medical compression tape or just leave it alone? NOTE: I have a VERY BAD reaction to all steroids!
I used to have naturally tapered double eyelids, but I wanted to make them bigger. After using eyelid tape for about 6 months, my eyes have gotten droopy, saggy, stretched and small. I stopped using eyelid tape for about a month, but its still pretty bad. Will my eyes return to how it was before naturally?
I had natural tapered eyes, but decided to use one - sided eyelid tape on my eyes. For 3 nights and 2 days straight[24/7]i wore the eyelid tapes, but on day 3 i wanted to go back to my natural lid. so i peeled the tapes off and my eyes are MESSED UP.i now have complete monolid with a VERY light crease.the natural eyelid I want so bad is gone, and i look very different. Its been a day since I took them off, but i need to do something fast seeing as how school starts in no more than 3 DAYS time.
