Hello! After researching, in theory, I'm aware that breast implant shouldnt result in massive weight gain other than 1-2Ibs of actual implants. However, I know some medicines could cause weight gain(Ex. Birth control pill. Theorically, it shouldn't, but lots of people report it indeed does, due to hormone) *My questions is, does any medicine involved in breast augmentation has effect on weight gain or hormones change? Or even water retention? *Does anesthesia contain any calories ???
Im 9days po from a BA and seem to have gained weight post op despite consuming significantly less food. My activity level has not changed as I was not very active before surgery. Is this a common occurence or is it just bloating/water/gas as my body gets back to normal? Im on a lot of medications from my PS and thought maybe that is the cause although none seem linked to weight gain besides Singulair. Is singulair commonly prescribed and has it caused weight gain? Should I discontinue using it
I just had my BA yesterday and I feel amazing! I would like to know if there is something that I can do to help get some of the fluid retention down. I am taking Bromelain and a clinical support Vitamed product. Have only had to take on pain pill and not taking anymore because I feel fabulous. I am pushing tons of water as well. 1.5 gallons/ day was recommended. Im probably not meeting that goal but I am drinking at least a gallon. I have swelling in my stomach sides and chest
Hi all! I had my breast augmentation surgery Monday. My implants were modest, 175CC smooth silicone modplus. I havent been eating much less than normal. I weighed myself today and saw that I had gained 8lbs! How is this possible? I take 50 mcg of Levoxithyrone. I cant tell if this is water retention from the hydrocodone, diazepam or what. I am a pretty fit person and this weight gain makes me want to work out sooner rather than later. Is this amount of weight gain normal??
Hi, I just got my BA 10/19/16, almost a week ago. Normally I am pretty slender, but after my BA and still to this day, I look really bloated. Going to the toilet ain't a problem, I just look bloated. Is this normal? Is it because of water retention due to the painkillers I am taking 2-4 times a day? Haven't heard much about this problem before I experienced it myself.... Thanks :-)
I had surgery on Monday (breast implants) and my stomach has been bloated ever since. Is this normal after this type of surgery? I was skinny when I went into surgery and now I look fat. Am I just retaining water or is it from the anesthesia?
I am considering a breast lift/augmentation- 38 y/o, 5'6 and 118 pounds. I have a small frame and 1 or 2 extra pounds on me is enough to cause me not to fit in my pants. How long should I expect for the fluid retention to resolve after surgery? I know to expect a permanent addition of 2 pounds due to implants. Thanks.
