1st reaction with eyelash extensions, woke the next am to swollen eyes. I'd been doing my lashes for a year, had experienced some itching & swelling, but nothing like this. Was gone in a week w/o medicine Recent reaction when getting a Restalyne touchup -I believe it was from the numbing cream because I only had filler on 1 side of my face, but the cream on both sides. Was prescribed a steroid , swelling went away after a couple days. I have had filler before with no reaction same dr/cream
Daily progression: M: face felt tight; T: cheeks full, face feels sunburned; W: cheeks more full & tingly with pink apples; TH: sides of face tingle and feel full especially when smiling F: friends say my pink cheeks look filled with tire repair; SA: muscles tremble when I half smile, sides of mouth bulge, I called doctor, sent him photos & video of trembling smile & swollen cheeks. His response = my cheeks looked like Angiodema; it would dissipate and I should go see my GP about shaky smile.
I would like to have Botox in my forehead but have suffered from Angioedema in the past . It happened about 2 years ago and lasted for 6 months. Could the Botox cause the Angioedema to return?
hello dear doctors i am a 60 years old woman,i had botox injection two weeks ago & i experienced a severe angioedema after that ...after the edema subside i started to experience blurry double vision ,strabism ,trouble to chew & swalloing foods...my doctor says it's because of leakage of botox into other facial muscles (because of the edema around the eye),i 'm so nervouse i want to know when this side effects will subside? & what can i do to make it resolve earlier?
I have facial angioedema on the left side of my face and it usually flares up during a hormonal swing. I was wondering if Botox would be a viable treatment for this condition? I currently us a combination of anti-histamines and steroids to treat it, but I would like to try something that may have a longer lasting effect. Thank you.
