I use retin-a .05% and will say its the best thing in my regime and I will never go without. You will experience peeling and redness for several weeks while your skin adjusts to using it, but believe me it is well worth it.

Pros- My face IMMEDIATLY tightened and I could feel the product working. Worked extremely well with mildly severe acne. (combination skin) After a month of use, my skin has NEVER looked better. (used Retin-A at night and a 5% Benzoyl Peroxide in the morning.)

I just started using Retin-A last night. I actually have the generic one, but my dermatologist said it works the same. Today, I don't see any difference, but I wouldn't expect to this quickly. I'm only suppose to apply it every third night at first. It's hard not to rush it....

Retin-A Information
Tretinion (sold as Retin-A and Avita for acne, and Renova for wrinkle reduction) is a derivative of Vitamin A that treats acne whiteheads or blackheads (comedones) by increasing skin cell turnover. Retin-A reduces the number of blocked pores by increasing skin cell turnover.
