Tretinion (sold as Retin-A and Avita for acne, and Renova for wrinkle reduction) is a derivative of Vitamin A that treats acne whiteheads or blackheads (comedones) by increasing skin cell turnover. Retin-A reduces the number of blocked pores by increasing skin cell turnover.
